Did search but nothing came up? Replacement tranny for the V6 Accord?
Does anybody know if the Acura CL 6-speed will fit? I have heard of people doing custom NSX tranny swaps, but the fabrication is insane. The reason i'm so concerned is I will be doing a custom turbo kit in the near future and don't want to keep the "slushbox". Also this isn't actually my car, but a friend of mine. I don't really know too much about the car, but I really want to learn!

sell your auto tranny they are worth alot of cash... that can help fund you manual tranny .... just get one from a CL and you will be ok ..
Sweet, that's exactly what I wanted to hear! Is the Cl a direct swap? Or is there minor fabrication required? Either way thanks Stripped Honda
Sorry but I doubt that's possible. You'll also need a new ECU that's compatible with manual tranny. Plus the labor is very cost-intensive on many auto to manual conversions. If you wanted to bolt up an auto tranny with another auto tranny, then it's cheaper but you'll most likely need a compatible ECU again with the new tranny regardless. Sorry to burst your bubble.

as long as you get the J series tranny and the ecu for it, I THINK you can do it.
