Default Are aluminum lug nuts safe to use on the track?

These would be on extended length wheel studs, so I can get over an inch of thread engagement.

I tried my set for the first time this last weekend. I got my set from my sponsor. They are forged & hard anodized. No problems to report. (I use anti-seize on the studs anyway, btw.) I would make sure that if you do use/buy them, that they are forged.
