Default Source for Small Skinny Wheels?

I may be asking for miracles here, but I was hoping to get a set of SCCA SoloII Stock legal wheels for my Si without spending $1200 on Volks.

That means 14x5... Does anyone know of a 14x5, lightweight wheel out there?

I already bought a set of Civic HX wheels, only to find they are 5-1/2" wide = not legal.

I guess if there are guys doing well in G Stock with OEM wheels you can tell me that, too, and change my mind about wanting new wheels!

Thanks in Advance.

I think some VW and Audi products came with 14x5" alloy wheels, on the 4x100 bolt pattern...

Yeah.

I see you're local - were you at Nassau yesterday?

Nevermind - I just looked at your profile and noticed you are the famous Spencer!

Yes, I will confess that my wheels were a bit illegal yesterday, but I fugure as long as I'm battling for 6th no one will mind too much!

I hope to get it sorted by the next event.

Well, your play-by-play is, and your driving, too!

Yes, I do need 14's.

But ya know, I'm thinking that you're pretty quick out there, and you're on steelies, so maybe I should learn how to drive and quit worrying about what kind of wheels to waste my money on!

Spenc-

I'm trying to get as much seat time as possible - this is my first full season competing.

I'm hoping to go to NNJR this Saturday at Etown, and I plan to get to some of the Mclub events, too.

New Civic hybrid wheels:

I know they're 14", and I know they're really light, but I'm sorry to say I don't know the width.

Thanks qtiger.

Are those from the Insight?

Pretty interesting idea, but maybe not enough of them at junkyards yet to make them cheap. If I had to buy them new from Honda I think the Volk's would be cheaper!

Sorry - just re-read your post and saw you said they were from the Civic. Thanks.
