Default After-Market Performance

Hey guys, i am curious for some input on several products that i am researching for my ITR (for when i get it in a few weeks - finally found one with 25k miles). First off, i do plan on autocrossing a bit in the future so i want to get a nice set of brake pads, brake fluid, and ss brake lines. I was looking at the CompTech ss brake lines and AEM pads - anyone had experience with these? What kind of brake fluid? Do i really need it?

Also, what spark plugs do you reccomend? I am ordering AEM CAI and Magnecor 8.5's and already have MSD Ignition w/ blaster coil. THink this is a decent setup? I am not going all out obvisouly for speed......

Also, what oil do you guys reccomend for the R? Just what Acura says in the manual or is there a better brand geared for a more performance enthusiast? And last but not least, is octane booster beneficial or worth the money or is it all hype? Thanks in advance guys.

Mike

Welcome to the board talkie, if you spend any amount of time here on this board you will learn alot.

As far as oil goes, that topic gets tossed around here quite often (the search feature is your friend...). It seems lots of people use 5W30 Mobil1 Synthetic. I do.

edit: and oh yeah, before you start worrying about what mods you want to make to the car get to know it first.

Congratulations on your R. Enjoy.

Dont bother with the MSD ignition, Hondas is much better. For brake fluid use Motul

So dont use the digital 6 series MSD ignition with ss blaster coil for the R? Hmmm........I thought that would be beneficial for it. You guys are the experts here
