did you use HCP or HASPORT for your h22 ?
it was just brought to my attention that hasport may not be the best choice.......anyone have any experiance with HCP?
the flaw i see in the hasport is that it holds the tranny rather than supporting it from above.....also the HCP has only 3 mounts and the hasport has 4
hard choice for me to make

HAS is a very reputable company and has been doing this for a long time. I have met the men behind the madness and seen thier shop here in AZ. I think their products are very high quality and a lot of research has gone into their stuff.

I have used the ek22 kit, and the eg22 kit from HCP and have nothing but good things to say about them! As far as I know HCP has been around longer than HASPORT
If you are mounting a h22 in a EK then i say use the HCP mounts you get 4 mounts!!! And if you are mounting a H22 in a Eg then use the HCP... you don't have to weld... If you have a welder and know how to use it then go with HAS then ok..... But i think that HCP is better for EK's and EG is still up for grabs.

Nah, you no longer really need the front mount when you use this:

We took the front bar off of there and drove it. Very solid with no vibrations. Feels like an EG H22 Civic. Just a small teaser pict of my "new" car

I used HCP in mine(ek-22 kit) with the a/c bracket & front racing brace. But I have have fitment problems from the begining, and I think I tracked it down to the L bracket on my tranny being bent.....went through a couple bushings already. But havent had any other problems besides that...

We only have a couple of "samples" but the damn "pouring of the urethane process" is lagging pretty bad at Energy so we're trying to get that taken care of as we speak.

No welding. But cutting off the tranny bracket, that's it.

i've seen it... looks fine. the big thing with the HCP is beging able to but a b16 or b18, and not having to weld the new mount back in, after you hate the 150+lbs of tourque power band, from the h22

Much cleaner IMO and I've never grinded gears.

some one mentioned not having to do ANY mods to any brackets so that a b series swap would be possible later on? huh? with what mount kit?
hcp- you need to cut off one arm completly, and the hasport you need to totally remove the bracket
what one allows you to leave the whole bracket intack???????

Not sure. I don't know much on the place racing mounts, but if you wanted to have the whole bracket still in tact, you would have to either mount the engine extremely low, which axles would not be lined up properly, or raise the engine considerably, and not have enough hood clearance in order to obtain the factory tranny mount.

has sport, the bracket MUST be removed.
HCP the braket must be cut about half way so the shift linkage clears. you can put a b series back in but the mount will still be cut or course
remember, if you cut one arm off completely then the mount would be worthless and useless.

I use the HCP in my EG and have zero problems. I also like the idea if I ever blew up the H22 I could always put the D or B series motor back in.
