Default Which 5 Lug conversion will fit?

Hey, I am looking to go 5 lug, but i have heard many different things. Like if i go USDM ITR 5 lug, it won't fit on my '99 Hatch. True? If i go JDM ITR 5 lug, i have to use the axles and all?? True?? Then if i go with the CTR 5 lug, everything will fit but the CTR parts are so hard to find. True?? Can anyone help me out? anyone know anything for sale? I've searched, and that's how i came up with all these questions...

The 5 lug from a USDM ITR will fit as far as I know.

CTR parts are mostly like the USDM ITR parts so find parts shouldn't be hard.

I would imagine that a 5lug from a JDM ITR would be fine as well.

Any of those will work. If you use the CTR 5 lug conversion, you will be able to use the rear LCA's, though they are identical to yours. If you use the JDM or USDM ITR swap, you will have to use your rear LCA's. Really, it makes no difference which swap you get; they will all work. The JDM ITR swap uses 36mm outer axles, so they will work in a d-series motor, too, but you will have to swap the outer joints onto your d-series axles since you use unequal length axles and the b-series motors use equal length axles. So, pick up whatever one you can find for cheap since they will all work.

Speaking of which, I have a USDM ITR 5-lug conversion that comes with the front hubs, spindles, calipers, rotors and pads and rear trailing arms with the hubs, calipers, rotors and pads. They came from a 2000 USDM ITR with 20k miles on it, so everything looks brand new. Wheels included are EDM ITR 15" gunmetal wheels that I just had imported in February from another H-T member in Portugal. The wheels are identical to the JDM 16" wheels, but these are made by Enkei and weigh a scant 13 lbs. Email me at brandonw@mindspring.com if you're interested.

You can use the ITR rear LCA's but you will need new rear shocks to make those work
(it depends on what you are doing with you car ---> if you wanna go around the corners faster the ITR LCA's might give you a little help/ if you wanna go in a straight line use your LCA's and spend money from shocks you dont have to buy for performance parts)
as far as axles working I dont think you have to have a motor swap to make this work seeing as though an Si can do a five lug and not have to change axles then a cx use the SI suspention and not have to change axles so the SI and CX should have the same axle spline pattern that matches the ITR 5 Lug (haver NO idea about a JDM ITR 5 LUG?)
good luck

How do you figure about the LCA's? The only difference is how the shocks are mounted. It's popular with EG's to swap ITR LCA's onto their cars for more choices of shocks, but there's no reason to put ITR LCA's onto an EK. And the axle question was answered in my post above. The USDM ITR and CTR axles will work with any b series transmission and the d series axles will work with any 5 lug hub. The only time you need custom work is if you're using the JDM 36mm axles with a d series engine. That is when you have to swap the outer joint from the JDM axle onto a d series axle.

basically, as long as you have the entire suspension from one of those cars you cant go wrong.
