FS: KONI Ground Control Coilovers (for civic, integra), custom rate, BRAND NEW!
i figured that these were good auto-x parts, so it woule be good to let all that post in this forum knwo about them:
Brand New, still in original packaging and paper wrap...
Ground Control coilovers for civic and integra. spring rates are 380 front and 300 rear. i got these for my 94 civic coupe with gsr rear swaybar but i am going to sell the car soon. i just recieved these from UPS on monday of this week. they have the koni adapters, sleeves, springs, upper urethane isolators, allen key, stickers, everything. i havent even taken them out of the box yet, just opened the box to inspect them.
i'm looking for $325 shipped, or make on offer. thanks for looking.

doesn't matter if they are still sealed in the box...why would I buy from you when I could go straight to the manufacturer?

actually, the koni specific gc's are $339 direct from ground control, plus more for shipping. im doing these for less shipped than they sell them for without shipping. they are brand new, just as if they came from ground control themselves. just wanted to point that out....thanks.

the rates are a lot better than the ones that ground controls for civics normally come with. may not be the best for someone who is looking for a perfect auto-x or road race setup, but if someone just wants good handling, a decent ride, and better than average auto-x fun, then they are great. im sure someone will buy them. thanks for looking though.

Actually for an autocross setup they might be ok if you swap the springs front and rear. For road race... not even close.

can't argue with you there. when i bought them i never intended them for road race use, just daily driver with light auto-x duty. should have stated that.

On the rates. I run 400/300 and like it as a comprimise between autocross and daily driving. Its still a soft autocross setup. Daily driving its fun.
I apologize for my comment, and wanted to know if the springs are the same free length front and rear. If so I might just buy em off you and get one set of extra springs later.
the springs are 2.5" x 8" front and 2.5" x 7" rear. these were the standard recommended free lengths from ground control. i was told that it was because the rear has a much longer threaded adapter for the rear shocks. i dont think it would even be a problem to use those 7" springs in the front because you could just keep the adjuster an inch higher to compensate for the decrease in spring height. let me know what you think. thanks.
