what to do with the Victoracers between races?
Can I leave them on the race kaa? I used to bag them up in black trashbags and stack them in between autocrosses or lap-days when I used them on the R, switching out to street tires between events - but now that I have a set that is for the dedicated car, I figured it be easier to just leave them mounted between races (except for rotation of course)
Seems I read it was bad to leave them exposed to the elements outdoors though. If they stay mounted for 3-4 weeks at a time is that okay? Inside/outside a problem either way?

if you got them from tirerack, they should've sent you a little pamplet detailing how to store them and how to take care of them in general...pressures, heat cycling, etc.
if you don't have it, i'll try to help. from memory...heat, sun (i think mostly due to uv rays), and i think they mentioned electromagnetic radiation or something as being bad. it's okay to keep them on the car unless you just heatcycled them for the first time.
from tirerack's site...
"Between races, never store tires exposed to the elements on your race car trailer's tire rack or outside your shop, store them in a cool, dry place away from electric motors.
Immediately after every track session, remove debris and inspect your tires for damage and wear. If possible, let them cool while they are off the ground"
actually, lots of good info on the site.

You should try to store them indoors. When I was racing, at a minimum, I would store my qualifying tires indoors. Now that I'm just instructing, I leave them on the car.
FWIW, when I ran Victoracers on my car for autocross, I left them on the car outside 24/7. I won class championship in my region on a single set of Victo's that I mounted in the Spring and left on all year and drove to every event on them.
Last year I roadraced on ECSTA V700's that went on the car in the Spring, and I only just dismounted after 7 regional races. However, the car was usually garaged.
I laugh when I see guys with Hoosier's dismounting and covering their tires from the sun between qualifying and racing. While they are giving their tires cool sips of water and whispering sweet nothings to them, I'm kicking back and relaxing.

lol, haha, that's too much
You gotta love the diverse opinions on Honda-tech. Well it's no trouble to keep the car or the tires in the garage both, I've just had the R inside the last few days doing stuff and it rained outside - the Victo's felt hard as rocks a couple days later, but I imagine they'll be fine. No need to go off the deep end trying to overly protect them. Thanks for the comments everyone, I think I will at least keep them inside.
Anyone have an experience with tires "going bad" or doing bad things by leaving them in the elements? Just curious.

I don't buy this. They do come back, you just have to scuff them again. Heck, I had a set of Hoosiers (yes those finicky bastards) in my unheated garage all winter, and this spring they were still faster than my best times on Kumhos!
