Default Boring out the B20

Well if you plan on doing a B20/VTEC setup, and using JE pistons, I hear they only make 84 and 85mm pistons. So will it be safe boring and honing a B20 block(I know they have weak sleeves) to 85mm?

Thanks.

Just about all of my friends' CRVTEC motors are running 84.50mm JE 12.0:1-12.5:1 slugs... A couple on stock rods, one on Eagle... Crower rods are awesome, I assume you're just looking at the Econo Billets since there's really no point for a stronger rod with a stock sleeved bottom end... Peace

Well I want to do a crazy all motor setup, Skunk2 stage 3 cams, so I hope my sleeves will hold out just fine.

I mean, I always hear people saying that stock sleeves crack with high compression but all of my friends' motors are still running just fine... They've all been going for over a year with no problems... I dunno... Guess we'll just see... Peace

I just picked up a set of Importbuilder spec wiseco's in 84.5 and their eagle rod combo that corrects the porr rod ratio. The **** is DOPE and worth every penny!

IMO if you are planning to build a "crazy motor" why not save yourself drama in the longrun and bulletproof your block now. By bulletproofing I mean sleeved.
BTW, Whats wrong with Arias? Is it a preference that you prefer JE? Or is there something with Arias I don't know about.

I just hear bad stories about the customer service. I dont know too much about them, but all I hear is good things about JE.
