about to buy techedge DIY 1.5??
any help would be appreciated on putting it togetyher, level of dificulty
i am also getting the datalogger option and the DIY LCD display unitbuying in a few hours... but need like 30$ more in my paypal

I am not sure what level your soldering skills are at but make sure not to use too much solder, just enough to make a clean connection, and make sure you are using the thin type of solder(i forget the size) because it will help. A few of the pads are really close together and if you are not carefull you will bridge the connections creating a short.

Also make certain that you clean your solder iron tip to prevent buildup of solder. HTH.

yeah... the flux is in the solder. As for wire I'm thinking that either 22awg or 24awg will do on a small unit like that but I'm not shoa. how much did that kit run you because I want to order one as well being that I can solder it very easily. thanks.
and make sure not to apply the heat too long otherwise you will damage components. also there are a TON of resistors, so make sure you take your time in making sure you have all of them, and they they're in the right place. it wouldnt hurt to check the values with an ohm meter to verfy they were labeled correctly. and finally, read the instructions like 5 times before making the first solder connection.
