Default pg7 ecu on zc swap

i'm thinking of buying a pg7 5 speed ecu off ebay, says it will work on a zc swap. my buddy has one and wants me to buy it for him, is this the right ecu? it's a 88 dohc zc. thanx.

The actual ZC ECU is the PM7. That's the best one to run with the swap. The PG7 you can use but won't be as good as the PM7. You need to make sure the pg7 is from a 88-89 integra and not a 86-87.

Yea the PM7 is the best ecu for the ZC as it is the actual ZC ecu but its got a speed limiter of 112mph which is why I didnt go with it. The PG7 is almost as good from what I've read and doesnt have a speed limiter.. my ZC ran alot smoother when I put the PG7 in.

it's not as good? it's a 88-91 as far as i know, and we've read it can help a lot in the way the car runs and the speed. thanx for the replies guys. :D
