Friend of mine needs her antenna replaced on her 93 Civic sedan, so I took a look at it but I don't see any identifying letters, just the word "Civic" on the back. My hatch has the "VX" so I know what is. Is there a plain-vanilla Civic sedan with no letters/ and/or would the antenna for this car be the same regardless of which sedan she has? I need to order the part once I figure this part out.

(BTW thanks to those who helped me a month or two ago in this forum with my cluster replacement, you guys are very knowledgeable and helpful, it was about the easiest work on a car I ever did.)

 

You could check the registration but it wont matter.
Just tell the dealership its for a sedan.

 

I wouldnt imagine that an antenna would change at all between the trim levels. just get the right year and hook it up.

 

In 1993, in the Sedan style, there were three models. EX, LX and DX. EX is the only one that came with an antenna.

my dx has an antenna................ but its a 92, so maybe antennas are on the list of random nicer stuff on 92's (vtec wiring...)
