i wanna remove the emblems on the rear of my 96 Civic HX. ie; "CIVIC" and "HX". If there just stuck on with double sided tape, then it's all good. Here's my problem. Does anyone know for sure if the rear emblems are really just on with doublesided tape or with those damn screw, prongs or whatever you wanna call them? Before you tell me i should get close and look, i've tried and i can't tell. the emblems are too close to the body and there's no way to tell.

 

cant remember exactly but it is not screws...
why take them off anyway?

The HX and CIVIC emblems are just glued on. Only the H symbol has those bolts, which if taken off leave two holes in your trunk.
