Well apparently between either 12midnight last night and 7am this morning they stole my 2000 Acura Integra GS-R. I don't know what to say really besides I feel like there is a hug hole inside me. I loved that car with a passion and now it wsa taken from me. I just thought I'd share this information with all you guys in case you see it or want to keep an extra eye on your teggie.







i got plenty of more pictures but i'm just not in the mood to post them.

 

sorry pal.. i'll keep my eyes open for any milano red parts.. especially that OEM kit..

I hope you find yours too. I never even read any of these stolen car threads until it happened to me. Now i know what a lot of people feel like, and i don't even wish upon my enemies. Unless they steal cars, then i wish they would just die!!!

 

That sucks dude. I would check urbanracer.com classifieds...there is always stolen **** on there...i would bet some stuff turns up on there. Where are you on LI? It is rare that cars are stolen around my parts...

yeah i live in suffolk county, by the north shore. My car had no problems, you might be thinking about brians car (vtec69). So now we both don't have a car

Man that sucks Edgar. I thought car thefts were pretty bad out here in Queens but I didn't know it went out as far as Long Island. What security measures did you have on your car? If or when they find your car, if you're interested, I can take you to this place in Queens to get a hoodlock installed for you. It's like a deadbolt for your hood that keeps the hood from being opened even if the latch is popped.

I may be taking Mike (Racerboy) to get one put on his CRX. Anyways, hope they find your car quick. Hopefully the Suffolk County police are a lot better than the ones here. When I had my Civic stolen, they found it the next day stripped in Brooklyn.

 

Sorry to here that,Milano red tegs are so dam nice,it sucks that thieves are still stealing our rides,I thought they would move onto the RSX and SI but the k series doesnt have parts that are swappable in like 10 different civics.Best of luck in finding it,I've been there.

It's $125 installed I believe. I had the shop install a Viper alarm along with the hoodlock. I also use the Club and the Autolock for my car. I know you can't really stop a determined thief, but I'll be damned if I make it easy for them.

 

Christ...this is just getting bad. I'm terribly sorry to hear that. You know I'll keep my eye out for you. I just can't stand theives. Luckily I had my cars just broken into and not stolen. I might take up Dave's offer to take me to get the hood lock. It's either that or get the removable steering wheel. I hope you find it soon and make some security changes!

Hey mike to make things worse brians car is messed up too so now we both don't have a car. And for the rest of you people who asked what secuirty measures i have. I had a few that i never told anymore, not even my parents. So i'm going to keep it like that.

As far the the other options i have been contemplating my choices already considering I get the money my car is worth from the insurance. I hope it doesn't get to that, buts its something that i have to think about no matter how much it hurts.
