stearing column shaking during high speeds and braking (recently changed my springs)
k..heres my problem...before i had neuspeed race springs on my integra....i had no problems with it...until i installed eibach pro kits...i know i should get an alignment, but changing the springs shouldnt cause my stearing column to shake on the freeway and braking...i followed the instruction in the owners manuel...what could be causing this...thanks
well, what tha problem most likely is, is u need new rotors or jus need tha old ones resurfaced. just do a brake inspections and look into the rotors because im almost positive thats the problem.
Check to make sure your tires are properly inflated, also make sure to properly torque the lug nuts. If that doesn't work, maybe check into getting your rotors resurfaced.
Even with changing only springs, you should still get an allignment. Different spring rates and heights can cause you to go out of spec.

What all these guys said. Mine did the same thing, turning out I had warped rotors. Just take your car to your local shop and they'll fix it for you.
Could be rotors, alignment, I woudn't think your springs would cause this.

if you also just lowered or changed the suspension, get an alignment. mine did that on all my cars until i got an alignment.

I had that exact problem before, all it took was a balancing and an alignment and the problem was gone.

Haha....could you be any LESS specific?
First things first, get an alignment/wheel balancing. A vibrating steering wheel under braking usually indicates warped rotors, but if you just put the springs in, I would first suspect something related to that.

mine did that as well could be loose wheel or lugnuts are uneven but my car was doing that cause one of my pistons was stuck on my caliper it was not calapsing properly...
