quick question b4 i enter irev
my teg is gonna be in the irev show and im using my stock blades (money problems) do u guys think i should either paint it black or gunmetal or leave it stock for the show. keep in mind exterior looks is silver, stock blade rims, car is lowered, and has spoon lip. i have about 2 days to decide, lemme knoe what you guys think i should do with the rims.
because i get my money back plus free entrance for a passenger = pretty much free show, its way cheaper than paying $20 or around that much jus to get in. also my question wasnt about my money probs. its about what u guys think i should do with my rims
'scuse me for making a common sense suggestion. honest opinion on the wheels...borrow some of your friends wheels. gsr's won't be getting you any points at irev.

thats a common sense suggestion? just because i have money problems doesnt mean im flat broke, entry fees arent much, the only money problem i have is money to buy rims.

why even be in the "car show" scene if you have money problems period.
the car show scene is a very expensive hobby. dont even bother to show if you have stock rims
you'll have to sit there all day, get no attention (if that's what you're aiming at) and pretty much get nothing.

Just leave them,or find a set of wheels to borrow.
Having them powdercoated profesionally isn't all that cheap.

competition is stiff and i already kno im not gonna win anything, im doin it for fun. plus my car isnt all "show", i seen so many messed up looking ricers in the show that dont even look as good/decent as my car. that just goes to show that plain and simple cars could hang with "show" cars too. in some situations you dont even need aftermarket rims, i seen plenty of nice sleepers in shows that got alot of attention. i cant just enter the show and already expect some kind of trophy. whatever im jus standing my ground. i really just asked everyones opinion about the rims, i didnt knoe everyones so concerned with my money issues.

you said it yourself... not me
dont let my opinion keep you from doing what you want. if i were you leave the rims the way they are. stock blades dont look good painted.
