will a prelude alternator work on a 88 Si engine?
basically I want to know what the topic says.I was going to get a Integra alternator but I could not get one at my local Honda yard.What other alternators will work?Please let me know ASAP.I have a 92-95 civic one on there right now but it has gone bad.

did u ever find out? i would think there different... i have a h23 and a d16 alt sitting side by side and there's a definate difference in size.... what about using a newer d series alt on a d series and a newer b series on b ect.....?
