My friend is currently doing a b16a1 swap into his crx. He got his **** from HASport, and I recommend not buying a god damn thing from these people. He has decided they wont see any more of his money. They are pathetic, ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. He sent them his wiring harness and they had it for ALOT longer than their 3 day turn around time. His got in, they started on it, then stopped (dawn at hybridgarage told him this since she knows them and knows my friend) to work on a tuner mag's wiring harness that came in (and no, this tuner mag didnt have some sort of appointment, they just brought it in and HASport decided theyre more important). My friend lives 35 miles away from his work and almost lost his job over this. So they were already taking twice as long, then the person that does the wiring went home sick (if your 4-5 days behind on a harness that someone needs or theyll lose their job, i dont give a **** how sick you are, stay at work and finish it before you go home). They also had a couple **** ups shipping his **** to the wrong place, etc. I know theres more, I'll update this when I talk to my buddy next.

So HASport sucks? I think the complete opposite considering they have developed a lot of good products to help aid motor swapping, especially the EF B's and EG H swaps.

Well if you would take 4-5 days to do some research there jackass, most competent people could do the wiring themselves instead of sending it off somewhere. If the car is a daily driver which I'm guessing it is, then I would have a back up plan or a beater to drive in the meantime.

 

agreed...with some research and some diagrams you could have done it yourself. and HASport doesnt "suck" you just had a bad experience with them which seems mostly related to customer service...you obviously didnt think their products sucked if you sent your wiring to them

 

I would never advise anyone to "think" they can do a swap in a weekend, esp if this is their first swap. Definitely have a backup plan, cuz there WILL be some time spent waiting for parts you forgotten and ****. Welcome to the world of HONDA HYBRIDS!

But for guys that's already gone through a few swaps, we make sure we have EVERY SINGLE NUT AND BOLT before starting on a swap. Avg time is around 8-10 hours with hand tools.

 

Never start a swap until everything is there...he definately shoulda had a backup plan. Not HASPorts fault...

BTW: I always ask people when they need their harness back before I start on it.

first off, why are you in here? If you arnt the one having the problem, go away. Thats great your friend has these problems, and they would be his problem, not yours. If your friend hates HA sport so much, he can tell us. Dont get mad at us for msg'ing you and saying you are an idiot, because most people who have problems, express them to other people all by their self, they dont have a puppet spit whatever they spit.


second, your friend is an idiot for putting himself in the position to loose his job over not having a car, or an alt. method of transportation, ALOT of things can come up during a swap, thus causing mad delays.

third, HASport doesnt garuntee a time frame for a wiring harness to be made. If I was HASport, and I had the chance to get magazine coverage, or finish somebodys wiring harness, the choice is kinda obvious, they are a business, and a business that likes to make money.


I find your post childish, pointless, a waste of space, a waste of time, and a disapointment that people dont have better common sense.

Okay, see its not your swap. If you would have made the harness your self... and you wanted to HELP your friend. You should have made the harness for him.
