sometimes on auto trannies you want to actually flush (or "wash") the fluid through...versus just draining the old stuff and replacing new. A machine is required for this (stealership).

Look behind the front passenger wheel against the engine and you'll notice a plug where you can fit a thin 3/8 ratchet into it. It's going to be a tight fit but the 3/8 ratchet will fit. Take off that plug and the trans fluid will come out. I recommend you jack up the car and put jackstands underneath, making it higher will give you more leverage in turning the ratchet. Refill from the top of the motor where you check/add trans fluid. It takes 3 qts of Dexron III fluid to do the ATF changed.
