How to keep Polished headers looking good????

I got a polished MAXrev Manifold and it was so nice when i first got it. Now it looks all yellow/purple in areas. Is there anything I can do to make it look like it did before i used it??? Maybe like a rubbing compound or something.

try to rub it off, but i doubted it will still shiny forever.
brown ceremic header of rainbow colored polish header dont bother me much..
maybe it just me

hmmm...i would think you polish it.

jesus, it's an exhaust manifold. heat discoloration is beautiful...it's a sign of use

Everything else in my engine bay is bling. Why not keep that bling...

just polish it that's all. it will change colors again, just polish it again.

This is just a idea, but after u polish your headers, add a clear coat. Not sure if this will hold up with the heat but it would always keep it shiny

i think the polished headers look better after they take on that rainbowy look..

There is no way. Yould have to polish them everyday. I had them treated with many different coating and nothing worked. I guess it depends on how much power/heat your pushing threw them but tey will change NO MATTER what! Now my turbo manifold is cerama-chromed and its been pretty good but all the heat is in the turbo and d/p!
