Flushing before synthetic oil???
Well...tomorrow I'm going to change from regular oil to synthetic oil...My car has about 14,000 miles on it....Before that, I've been letting my local Acura dealer change my oil for $29.99.....NO MORE....I notice that my local Acura uses Quaker State oil. I'm doing it myself this time...A friend told me to have my oil flushed before putting synthetic oil...Is this required?? He said it cost him about $60 to have it flushed....I won't flush mine....Also....does anyone know how much a Toyo T1-S tire cost in stock specs (195/50/15)??? Thanks...Just want to know before I go over to my local Toyo tire dealer tomorrow and ask....
May be its just me but flushing before synthetic might fall under the too **** category.
It may even do more harm than good. Maybe the vehicle before yours was full of sludge and now some of it ends up in your engine. Then again this would depend on what kinda flush machine they use. peace

Flushing? No. Maybe just switch to synthetic and change again after 1000 miles.
T1-S's? Go to http://www.onlinetires.com .

Thanks for the advice guys...I changed to synthetic oil today...took like only 5 minutes
Can't really feel any engine performance....but my state of mind is better now
One more thing...I am so pissed at my local Acura dealer that I USED to change my oil...I went under to take off my oil filter...And the color of the oil filter was black...I thought to myself..WAIT...The one that I got from Acura was a blue OEM Honda filter...I unscrewed the oil filter and took it out and looked at it and OMG!!!! It's a ISUZU oil filter!!! What the F!@K
ISUZU!!!! Shouldn't it be OEM Honda oil filter...I was hella mad..All this time I paid $29.99 at Acura and they don't even use OEM Honda parts....So a word to everyone: DO YOUR OWN OIL CHANGE!!! OR ANY OTHER MINOR CAR MAINTENANCE/REPAIR BY YOURSELVES...Don't trust the dealer...I'm going to write a letter of complaint to my local acura dealer....Good idea or should I just storm in there and complain my *** off??? Any ideas
