Default SAFC / VAFC results

It got brought up in another post - but it's a good question and could use it's own post. At what point in modifying your car should you add in an AFC? What kind of gains have you gotten from your tuned SAFC/VAFC or whatever?

depends on how much money you have left to spend on every bolt-on you can think of... you could always tune it again if necessary... sorry to change the subject but i was browsing around online and thought the HKS AFR Type D (or Type L) sounded pretty interesting... they retail at $135.00 and sounds like a good deal for those who are just sticking to the regular bolt-ons...

"The HKS AFR Type D (or Type L) is a fuel-adjusting device that regulates the Air / Fuel ratio on speed density applications by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. Designed for vehicles that are lightly tuned (air cleaner, exhaust system, etc.) and need only slight fuel adjustment, the 12 setting adjustment indicator allows the user to richen or lean the stock fuel settings by approximately 1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner)."
