PMFI ECU test harness.....
k the workshop manuals talk about doing this jumper and stuff to check a lot of the ecu codes.. i am really confused on what it is.... is it a jumper harness we gotta put between the car harness and the ecu?? of is it unpluggin a ecu conector.??? or what?? where can i get a hold of that.... also is there a way to bypassing taping on the ecu cables.. that hurts the cables and i dont wanna do that... any input its greatly welcomed
heres what i am talking about....

If you're talking about just testing pins you can take some 24 gauge single core wire and stick it in the hole you are testing then hook the wire to your multimeter.
for future reference... it is a harness that its sold separate that goes between the ecu and car harness..... it lets u check for volts, ohms., and other things while the engine its runnig. this way u dont have to tap, cut, or puncture any cable in order to read the signals.....
i know my buddy has one on his shop.... going to see if he can get me one.... ill let u guys know

yeah, do that! i was wondering abou the test harness myself after looking through the workshop manual on troubleshooting ecu and CEL problems. good luck.
I've never ran into anything that you have to check while the car is running, most of the sensors you just check the resistance through which you can do just with sliding wires into the correct holes.
