Broken Exhaust Manifold Bolt
During my recent quest to install my headers it begin to snow and I was near completition of removing my stock header. So I have no other car so I decided to bolt the manifold back up and ride open header for a day or two. As I was tightening the screws I broke the last stud on the manifold. I was hoping that it didn't happen but it did. How much does it run to get a new screw put in? What is the method of removing the old screw?
P.S. I also broke the gas guage on my cluster and glass. Should I stop trying to do installs?

LOL, I break **** every time I try to do something. You can buy a new stud to put in at Honda. Get a stud puller and get the old one out. Thread the new one in carefully so you don't strip the threads in the block. Good luck...
Oh ok I thought it was just me. At least I'm not a person who gets uptight when things happen. ::wiping the sweat of my forhead:: The sound of open headers is annoying.
I've found using PB Blaster on bolts beforehand will keep you from breaking studs, since you don't have the nut seized on there anymore, it will come off before you over-torque it.

I was using PB Blaster to remove nuts and bolts. Had some that would not budge even after a day of soaking. I got a can of Knock R Loose and I was able to break it loose in 20 mins. I will never use any thing else again. I thought the salesman was full of it. Now I am glad I tried it.
