short shifter for dc2 R

anyone of the R's out there had experience with buddy club short shifters for a dc2 r? There's a 2nd hand one for sale on the australian ebay, is it going to be that beneficial????? Or is the standard R shifter ok???

I dont drive an Arrrrr but I love my shorty shifter.
