Looking for a good car cover
I am looking for a high quality car cover, preferably one with a cotton or some other soft fabric lining and a waterproof shell. Is there any company out there that makes one like that, made to fit a 92-96 prelude?
If you want waterproof then I assume you will be parking outside. What I found in looking for covers is that you can either get a cheaper waterproof one or a more expensive softer water resistant one. My advice is to use 2 covrs, a soft inside shell cover like a carcraft and then get one of those 100% waterproof ones from pep boys. They are really waterproof, I use one and it works in heavy rains, snow, etc. Just put them on the car and use them as a 2 layer cover. When you take them off roll them up together. e

I believe they use 3M materials in their covers, and have several different materials to choose from and over 70,000 custom-fit patterns. Expect to pay anywhere from $150-$300. For parking outside, you definitely want a cover that will breathe. Take it from my experience, the cheap nylon ones that do not breathe are terrible. When I bought my car the previous owner gave me some cheap single-layer nylon cover. I tried using it one night, and came out the next day to find condensation had formed on my car underneath the cover (temperature went below the dewpoint that night, and the moisture under the cover could not escape), and so the nylon cover became totally soaked as it sat on my car. It was pretty nasty.
