What do you guys think my first mod should be? Im not swaping motor till end of summer I just bought a rev/speed meter since it has no tach, and I didnt want to go get a ricy 5inch monster super doooper tach. I think the rev speed will do just fine for me, I want to do intake next.

Congratz man! I would go with I/H/E For your first upgrades. A nice Intake, Header, and Exhaust system! =] Good luck, have fun with your new car!
Yup, go ahead and get the mpfi done because your gonna need it. And I wouldnt do anythign with the engine, like full metal said, suspension for now till you swap. You'll most likely waste money with anything else depending on what swap you do.
Do an MPFI swap. That ought to be relatively inexpensive and give a decent performance boost. It involves switching to the Si intake manifold, changing the wiring to suit the different fuel injection setup, and switching to an Si ECU. You will also need an Si or HF throttle cable and distributor.

its a swap from your DX DPFI(dual point fuel injection) to the Si model's MPFI(Multi-point fuel injection) Your DPFI consists of only 2 injectors while the Si's have 4. More fuel would mean an increase in power...i think...Im in the process of doing that conversion to my CRX as well....do a search and you'll find a lot of topics involving the conversion...AGP
Congrats on the EF. You said it has no tach, yet it is a dx---it think u have a standard model cause if I'm not mistaken dx's come with a tach. BTW for your first mod go copp a Energy Poly bushing kit and replace those old, decrepid rubber bushings. I guarantee they are shot.
