I looked out the window and its a comin down. I don't think you guys have nothing to worry about, i am predicting 65 and partly cloudy for the weekend.

Its done snowing already. You guys are really going to enjoy the track and surrounding area. Remeber one thing this track is only a half a season old, and they are still working the final touches. I wish i would have bought a guest ticket so i could go, but i will be able to hear you running up on the hill.

 

As far as a fire, the wife and i are going tomorrow to close on nice place with seven acres. I don't think we will moved in by the weekend, so i guess a fire is out the plan. A little warning there are three small villages near the track, and they each have a barney fife, (under payed cop). The closest state store(liqour store) is on Lawerence ave in ellwoodcity about a five minute ride, open till nine on saturday and closed on sunday. The beer dist. is just up from the state store on the same road.

 

any good car washes in that area.......

ya i gots a 4 hour drive.. My car will be hammered when i get there.. It will need a good bath

 

I hand wash mine, but there are a couple of the high pressure type in the area, you could always bring your bucket and sponge and use there water. The only problem would be the recycled water sometimes not real clean. The track might have a water source you could use. I could wash them but that would be $40 a piece.

 

Fuel, one place, about a mile away, you will pass it going to the track from the motels and PA turnpike. The food last year was tasty, but i dont no what they have planned for this year. Busters bar in Kopple has a good breakfast for a couple of dollars. Kopple is the little town that the gas station is in. If you go through Kopple about four miles you come into Ellwoodcity. This is the largest town in the area. This is were your banquet will be and you can find just about everything you need. Like i said before i park my ITR in the driveway with the keys in it. I don't think anyone knows about them or there rarity

 

Maybe the Holiday Inn could provide a hose for us to wash our cars?
