Default Clutch Slipping? Help needed...

I recently bought a 93 accord dx...I've been driving it for about a week now and i've noticed its kinda slipping gears...like when i go to accelerate a little bit instead of giving power to the wheels it just revs...Its my first time driving stick and I learned on it, so my friend told me I probably messed up the clutch learning, if u guys could give some suggestions that would be great...thanks

Yes, replace your clutch before you burn your flywheel up.

One way to find out if the clutch is slipping is get to cruising speed in 4th or 5th and disengage the clutch and rev up the engine 1000-1500 rpm more and dump the clutch. a good clutch should grab within 2 seconds from engaging the clutch. If it does not engage than the clutch is slipping.
