Hey was just wondering about how much it would cost to install ac back onto a 1989 crx which had it in the first place, but was taken out. what will i need? thanks

i'd like to know as well. if i've taken everything UNDERHOOD a/c related out, what has to be replaced and can't be reused? i know for sure prolly the lines from the compressor to the firewall, but what else?

 

i went ahead and replaced the compressor and drier, but i went ahead and used some used A/C lines and a used condensor. just replace EVERY seal while you are re-installing and use a NEW drier.

Used A/C lines and condensors can be had for probably less than 100 together. then add whatever your local parts store charges for a new compressor, drier, seals, and the Charger Kit to that. so figure around $300 + 100 for the used stuff.

 

i took out all the lines/compressor/ fan and everything out of my 89 si..
