My brother purchased a cat-back exhaust system for his v6 '00 coupe. He was told it would fit both 2dr's/4dr's. It came and is about an inch too long. Does the 4 dr intermediate pipe differ in length, and were we lied to? It's an obx, has anyone else had this problem??

 

mine sticks out a little bit as well but not alot

take it ot a exhaust shop....cut that extra inch/s off it...

 

yup the sedan is about an inch longer than the coupe.

just get a local exhaust shop to fix it

 

that's going to change all the mounting points no?

 

It won't change anything. My first exhaust was from a coupe, I have a sedan, I took it to a muffler shop and they added a little bit of piping. Just make sore they cut someware between the Cat. and the next hanger, so the rest of the hangers wont get thrown off.
