Default Anyone Dented Their 2.5 Header(Spoon, JDM, DC, Toda, etc)?????

does it affect flow at all?
i was told by a couple of ppls that it won't really affect flow that much, true?

just looking for some opinion on it, coz i just bought a Spoon 4-2-1 that's dented kind of bad

also, where can i get this fix and how much?
would be nice if it's in the Toronto Area as well............

Thanks in advance

Did someone say dented? I dented my Spoon header just a tad on the way home from out of town. Lift oversteer owns...

As for the "dent" affecting flow, yes it does and very much so. It felt like the engine was straining to rev. RPM's don't climb as smoothly, and the car is a LOT weaker. A stock header would have probably performed better.

WOH Huge pics.

It depends on the dent. If you actually crush the tube and change the area at a given point then yes. If you flatten a section but it expands the sides in a egg shape it has less effect on the header.

holy crap, that's a big big dent, mine only happen to one of the primary, the dent might be half of what i see in your pic, i don't want to put it onto the car and have to replace it asap and stuff..........................if it's going to affect flow, maybe i will just get it fix before i even use it, anyone know of a good place near Toronto area???

so did you ever get the header fix after the dent??
or it just went to the trash?

I dented my JDM 4-1. It affected flow and the car felt pretty bad. You can definitely notice the difference.

No, it just doesn't hang as low as the Spoon header.

You could check @ a local machine shop...

They might be able to fix it.

My DC JDM ITR is dented, not as bad as the above pics, but still...

Didn't notice much (if any) decrease in power though. Made 147 to the wheels (I/H/E B16) with the header in its current state, so it's hard to say whether it affected horsepower or not.
