Guys offering me a d16z6 head with 227,000kms / 141,000miles for $150 bucks canadian funds says the engine knocks but the head should be in fine shape....what do you guys think???

 

I'd stay away from it. It will need a rebuild. It will need new valve guides for sure, valve seals, valve job, etc etc etc etc. Price wise, $100-$150 for something like that is not great. But it will not be a good thing to swap on, or swap over. If you are planning on a rebuild, go for it, but offer $50 May be worth more to some people, but you can find a perfectly good one with lower clicks for like $200 that won't need a full rebuild.
