Default Powercore race cat

Anyone have any experience with it? It looks like it has a bigger resonator than most so called "race" hi-flow cats. Will it increase exhaust sound level, or raspiness?

Most high flow cats are just small cats for larger engines. They have better flow but don't work as well on small engines(they don't stay hot enough).
I don't think there would be a HUGE diff. in sound and only slight gains in proformance.
High flow cats have to be kept HOT to pass smog tests. If it cools much, you could fail.

Whats the difference between the powercore "race" and the powercore "street cat? Is the race cat just a resonated test pipe, or does it have catalyzing material inside?
