has anyone tried to replicate the factory bronzed look on the japanese ef's?

i was thinking that you could somehow tint them almost the exact same color yourself.

 

i dont mean to steal your thread, but does anyone know if its possible for DC4? thanks...i was thinking the same...

 

i have the driver and passenger side glass if anyone wants em, they are for EF hatches, 50$ obo plus shipping. If you wanna pick them up Im in Long Beach.

 

good question... is there a cheaper way to do it instead of buying the glass itself?

I'll be doing it very shortly to my crx. I local tint shop has some light bronze tint that I'm going to try.

You probley could replicate it, but its acually built into that glass. So it probley wouldnt be the same.

hahaha, jdm styled tint. I am sorry but that is almost as bad as the road flare thingy. Either buy the real glass or leave stock glass in spend money on something useful like a motor

 

to be honest...there is no way to replicate it, even with the lightest bronze/amber tint. the reason why is that its the actual glass thats bronze(mixed in when made). your better off buying the glass...thats if some shops even know they exist and if they know its jdm you already loss...due to inflation on these rare not so popular items. in some cases for hatchbacks the rear quarter glass is rarely shipped. when glass is shipped lets say a driver side door glass 5 is shipped via freight 4 of the 5 breaks which means loss/damaged items.

 

hehe, i have the rear and love it, if i can get teh doors and sides i would get it no question.

 

Where did you get those? I want a pair for doors and the rear . Those look so nice !
