Crashed my car - RIP h00kup 6 - April 4, 2003
Welp, after my swap was finished it was totalled. im sure i'll get some flames and some sympathy but not lookin for any of it.
Everyone should be careful when driving - and think twice about doing something stupid.
I took a turn a little too hard - going about 45 in a 30 while it started raining, and lost the car.
it went into a full slide, hit a ditch and flew in the air and flipped once and landed on the drivers side roof, and then rolled again and landed on the roof.
I had my girl in the passenger seat, luckily her side didnt cave in and she substained a minor cut while crawling out of the car. Me on the other hand cracked my head open and got some hair ripped out. I got 6 stiches, and am greatful to be alive.

the motor in the car is still good - so i'm lookin for a hatch - EG or EK whichever is the right price and body condition.
if not another coupe will satisfy me as well.

Wow, man i feel you pain, nearly the same thing happened to me this past summer. except i was run off the road by a disgruntled redneck in a ford truck. my car rolled and looked prety much the same as yours. I had 12 staples in my head..Best of luck getting things back together, accidents suck! drive safe everyone

but ah well.for everyones info - it was a 96 coupe, with 99 front end.
lots of salvagable parts, and tomrrow i find out hwo much insurance is going to give me.
they said they would cover 60% of my aftermarket reciepts! which isnt too bad.

Glad to hear that you and your girlfriend were ok. As for the car.....I am really sorry to hear about that, just looking at those pictures I can't even imagine what it must have been like to be inside the car while it was rolling. Atleast the motor and some of the other stuff on there are still good

im just worried since the motor was flipped twice it could have messed something up.
but we'll see - im probably gonna end up purchasing the car back no matter what.
from waht im told those carbing bars is what kept the car from cruncing.
they were extremely good bars... can't wait to see them handle on a hatch.

im glad your both okay... but honestly your a jack *** for doing anything like that w/ ur girl in the car... how would you explain that if god forbid something happend to her?? when your alone it doesnt matter but when you have precious cargo like that u dont **** around.
