will 17's fit??
i have a 91 crx and i want 17's on it..will they fit without causeing lots of trouble?? i know they will rub a little but will they alot?? i know there will be people saying 17's are to big but i think it looks cool..thanks
if you plan on lowereing just a little or 1.75" at most than 17's will work. i've got 17's & the back rubbed when i had it dropped 2" the front is fine @ 2.25" tho. i had to ghettorig the back to raise it until i can afford coilovers & new adjustable shocks
i have it lowered 2 inches on dropzones..think it will be ok?? and how did they rub in the back, just when you hit a bump..i also have a b16 in it, so do you think that will weigh the front down more and cause some rubbin??
My Rex is lowered 2.25 up front and 2.00 in the back and I've only had my front tire rub once coming out of a steep drive way in the last 2 years that I've had them on there.

At stock height you will have no problems. My friend was running some 17's on his old hatch, and he was lowered with sprint blues(2.25 drop), and all he had to do was roll the fender lip using the ol' baseball bat trick. After that he was rub-free. Then again 15's on a EF are ideal, you might want to reconsider getting 17's, for performanse reasons.
i rub on slight corners & bumps, but only the rear passenger side- i already removed the fender liner & it didn't stop it. i had to ghetto rig my springs temporarily so i wouldn't mess up the tire too bad. i ended up raising the car liek 1/2" w/ these autozone spring spacers/compressors-it's way ghetto.
