Default Honda Element

What do my fellow civic owners think about the new Honda Element?
It looks pretty hip and with prices around $15k~$16k...its quite reasonable.

I drove one, and although its not the best looking vehicle, it definately makes up for it with the smooth ride. Back seats can be folded up and out of the way completly or even folded into a full size bed. Over-all the car gets in my book.

Great seats in them IMHO. I agree on the paint the whole thing. The dark blue looks really good, you don't notice as much of the body cladding.

Is it just me or is the second sunroof too far into the back area though, it seems like it should be more over the rear seat.

other than that

Yeah, it's pretty impressive... i agree that it would look cleaner w/all the body panels color-matched... maybe in the later years.

Not a very good pic, but you can get the 360º view at honda's site.

The bumpers aren't painted, it's molded in color, even the metalic flake.
And there's only one sunroof.

In case you want to change clothes inside (since there's privacy glass) you can stand up through it, but you couldn't if it were in the front.
That's one reason.

I agree but that was one of the reasons as stated by Honda, the main one that I remember anyway.

Is it me or is that car just so well thought out???

-Great roadtrip car IMO too.. take out the back bench and load up the keg there..lol
-Great beach car, when your done and the car is all covered in sand and **** just hose that **** down! I love it..

Element sounds like a cool daily driver if you ask me, and the styling is very retro, i think all it takes is some time and you'd get used to it.
