damn... some of you people need to calm down. threaten who.. i was simply saying i hope i dont get shafted by work and now have to lose my time @ the track AND my money. rules are rules, no biggie... hence why I said "cool" to begin with. figured since it was just recently posted someone else sold their spot after the dead-line, i'd would give it a shot due to circumstances out of my control. it IS silly, and some people need to MTOB.

It can't be sold any longer, only guest spots can be sold now.

 

Well, I don't know what the policy is and who makes the final decision, but if EPG can sell his spot (and a few others), then I think others should be able to do the same.

But, I don't make any decisions so...

I make the decisions. Final decision WAS a week ago but I am a softy and allowed people to try and sell. As of today (EPG and Ken sold late Saturday) there are NO MORE SALES. This is a HUGE HUGE hassle for me. I have done all I can to accomodate everyone but i have much more to worry about to try and juggle spaces down to the wire.

And let's not forget minor things like name tags, registration packets, etc. Why should Trey waste his time and money because you have other plans, work or not, this late in the game?

There wasn't a second thread there was one and i made acceptions all last week to those who contacted me.

I can no longer make those acceptions and finish the rest of the planning for the expo.

the Week of all sales are final is even a NASA rule so i feel I have gone out of my way at this point.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would start **** considering who's on trey's side, legal and otherwise.

Chris: I read your original post. And yes, he has the right to be frustrated. But at Trey and the expo organizers? No. At his work who is the cause of this issue, Yes. Don't be pissed because an event wont refund your money or allow it to be resold 6 days from the event because YOUR JOB may prevent you from going. Any reasonable employer wouldn't try to make you do something during scheduled vacation anyways.

I never saw any threat and hate to be hardnosed but I have to draw the line somewhere or i will have someone asking to selltheir spot after i get to the expo.

I have lots of other things to focus on and a week prior is pretty reasonable.

I can produce IM dat and times to show Ken and EP were working out a sale as early as last Friday (maybe earlier don't recall exactly) but i don't feel I should need to.
