Default Honda Cbr f3 520 Conversion

I am converting to the 520 chain and sprockets. I went down a link in the front and up two in the back. I was wondering if anyone has done this and what size chain to go. How many links?

Its teeth not links on the sprockets. Its a great conversion. One down in the front and two up in the rear will give you tons of mid range but will also throw off your speedo and odometer a lil. I think the f3 uses a 112 link chain not sure tho.

Well I believe the F2 and F3 both use the same mechanical speedo from 91-98, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Now the stock size chain is 108 links. Don't know if dropping a tooth up front and up 2 in the rear will change it or not, but it's a good starting point. I'm just going from expierience I had working on a 93 F2.
