Default anyone polish their own valve cover??

For those of you who have polished your own valve covers I was curious what you used to remove the paint and where to get it at and what you used to polish it. I did my dirtbike swing arm with just steel wool and paint thinner and it took forever.

any shortcuts you guys know of or pics of your own polish jobs appreciated!!

Go to like "AutoZone" and get there Aircraft paint striper. That works great! Spray on and let sit, then hose. If there is still some on there repeat the process.
I workingon a H22 VC and it is taking a long time. But then again i am REALLY pickey so... I want to to look much like chrome cover when i'm done... I prolly have 20+ hrs in it allready.

Not that this will help you too much, but I took my valve cover off and sand blasted it at a machine shop. Came out nice and clean, plus it wasn't messy at all.
