Default Rear cross member

how hard is it to take one off and install? mine is cracked and I need to put one one. so if anyone could help me out on how hard it is I'd appreciate it. and if anyone is selling one that would be cool to. oh ya I have an 88 crx Si

I dont know about the 88's but I know on the 90-91's it seems easy but then you'll notice the steering rack runs through it and you'll have to dissassemble it to remove the rear crossmember (Most people call it rear subframe).

To remove the rear cross member disconnect the tie rods from the hub. Disconnect the steering column inside the car (10mm bolt) behind plastic cover. Then just unbolt the 19 mm (or 17 mm) bolts holding the cross member to the underbody of the car. I have two rear cross (Manual)members from 88-91 Civic. $40 plus shipping.
