Passenger side foglight finally went dead - took the whole thing apart.
Took out the mounting bracket and body of the fog light but still could not figure out how to
replace the bulb.

Do I need a special tool? Looks like torx bit or something for the actual case/body of the foglight.

What type of bulb goes in there?

If it't the same as my '95, I think it's an H-3 bulb. I think you're right about splitting the case, too.
