cx/vx motors

how reliable are these motors? i hear the tranny's whine too. so what's the overall impression of these motors and tranny?

They are both slow and pokey as hell, But they still have the same honda reliability as any of Honda's other motor's. Just not get up and go.

i agree. i had one that i swapped out and it was really slow and pokey but at 200k miles it was still going. so they are reliable and the tranny gears are really long.
