a pic of a quaife installed in the tranny without the axles, where you can see through to the other side?

The reason I ask is that i installed my quaife, installed swap, and when i was looking through the axle holes I see a smallish hole like 1/4 " instead of a huge gaping hole. I don't remember seeing that before, when the quaife was out of the tranny. Does anyone know what this is or if it's normal?

 

I thought that you weren't suppose to see through to the other side with a LSD installed and that being able to see through was a sign of not having a LSD. Maybe I'm wrong though.

 

well i looked at my old open open diff tranny and its got the bar through it

 

yuo cant really compare a quaife diff to a stock diff.

 

You have it backwards

LSD=open
diff = bar thru middle
