will koni specific ground controls work with stock gsr struts?

anyone know?....just wanna run the koni specific gc's with my stock struts til i have the money for koni yellow's....will they work?

Will they go on sure... depending what drop you do and what your rates are kiss your stock struts goodbye. I would save up and do it once and do it right. Just less headaches that way.

That wasnt really what he was asking --- he was asking if the modified-to-fit-koni ground controls will accomadate stock shocks -- not whether or not it was good to put stock shocks on the GC's. Dont drop it much at all - because you will blow your stockers.

However, to answer the question, I do not think that your stock shocks will work on the Koni-specific ground controls. Im not 100%, but I think the modification keeps them from accepting any shock that is NOT koni.
