Harbor Freight has their aluminum jacks that are that low (lower actually) for $169.95. My wife bought mine for Christmas when they were $199. Now they come in colors (wish I had the red one)

Either AC or Harbor Freight will work. I feel the AC is better quality but you pay for it, ~$200. The harbor freight is not as nice quality but 10 lb lighter and ~$40 cheaper.
You can find the AC jacks at http://www.automotivetools.com.

I bought a jack from Sears (high lift 21") that starts at 6 inches. You could either have a friend pull up on the fender to help you squeeze that jack under your car or drive up on some boards.
One unfortunate problem... this is the second of this type of jack that I have. It's never worked right, doesn't lift correctly and now doesn't lower all the way. DOH!

I've got a Craftsman 2 1/4 ton floor jack - 4 1/2in. to 14 1/2in. lift range. Paid $30 for it. Works very nicely. Although I could probably stand a slightly taller max height... 14 1/2 barely gets the wheels off the ground.
I've got the same sears jack and it WON'T get the right rear off the ground if I'm using the rear jack point! The jack point is slightly off center to the left so the right rear hangs down. Of course the 195/60 Azenis "tractor tires" don't help...
Real pain - I have to jack up 3 times to change 4 tires!

If ya want the bling, the Blue Harbour freight jack is now $179.00

The AC Hydraulics jack is probably the best quality of all mentioned. It's built to last forever, and it'll almost fit under anything. I'm going to go with "worth the extra money."

Dude! Don't do this. The Acura dealer used to do it to my car to get it on their lifts, that is, until the sheet metal creased in the process. The car's not meant to be be lifted by the fenders.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah theres absolutely no reinforcement in the fenders. use the top of the window and push up with your legs.

Or drive up on a 2x10" board. Much less effort
