As the topic says, i'm looking for a very good machine shop in the local NYC or Li area. I am looking to get my block put together..
If you don't mind a little drive, I use a good guy up in Nyack, just across the Tappan Zee. Olsen Engines. (845) 353-0500. He just overbored a B16 for me and installed some CTR pistons onto rods. He's polishing a crank and doing my valve and seat work on the head right now. Reasonable prices, very knowledgable. He's an ex-racer and does a decent amount of Honda work. Ask for Charlie.

Very fair. Overbore my block, uninstall stock pistons on rods, install CTR pistons on rods (and the slight modification to the piston that it entails), hot tank everything = $195.
Literally, the 2nd exit after the bridge if you're heading TOWARD Rockland.
