well.... as the title goes.. i having problems again... the same problems as my last b18a i did the swap and the motor ran like crap. was knocking all over the place and was junk,.. so i swaped out motors for a good b18b,.. i know it was good cuz it was my friends motor...... well i drove it last nite a bunch and it seemed to be ok.. as the nite went it started to idle all over the place and the oil light came on and off with the idle...... kinda the same thing the old motor diid.. it seems now there is no power and is starting to sound bad i dont know what is going on and if its my oil pump how can it be doing the same thing as the other motor im really stumped on this subject and dont know what to do...

 

What codes is your ECU throwing? that would help alot.

it throws code 43.... fuel system but not all the time.

 

honda should have narrowd down code 43, as it could be alot of different things

are you using the same distributor as u did on your old motor, try swaping a new one and see if the problem goes away.

 

good luck with that code 43 .. i have been flashing that code on and off for along time now. if you figure it out please let me know.

 

yeah... the code comes and goes.. ... im really not worried about that tho.. it seems that has lost its oil pressre some how. i dont know how or why .. it sucks real bad the old motor did the same thing so i swaped it for a knowen good motor drove it last nite all nite and it was fine... today knocks like crazy no power again and the oil light is coming on damnit
