J's Racing Final Gear Installed
My J's Racing 4.44 gears finally came the other day and had them installed yesterday. I am pretty happy with the results and notice a little more pick me up from my S. The real reason for the new ring/pinion was my stock pinion rod was so ate up that it had to be replaced with something. Basically the bearing that sits on the pinion rod was spinning and wore down the actual metal because of the HP that my car is pushing. This causes this god awful noise coming from my rear end that got significantly worse at higher speeds which thankfully is gone now. I also had the new ring and pinion and bolts cryogenically treated to allow much more stress. I didn't take any pictures but wanted to post incase others have the same annoying noise and don't know where it’s coming from.

Did you install the yellow box to correct the speedo?
Anyways pics would be great as I will be ordering and installing the J's 4.77 gears soon.
